Ficulle

Ficulle is an enchanting town with a Medieval castle hamlet in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, not far from Rome and Florence and very close to the A1 (Autostrada del Sole – the longest Italian freeway with a ‘toll -payment’). Ficulle can be reached by rail when stopping at Fabro-Ficulle. Arrangements need to be then made to be taken up-hill, as bus links between Fabro Scalo and Ficulle are very sporadic and the townships are at about a 20 minute drive.

Marina C

Marina C was born in Mestre – Venice (Italy) and from a very young age developed a passion for knowledge and multiculturalism.

Her life has therefore been a journey of learning and travel that has taken her to over 40 countries- including working as a teacher in Australia, Turkey and Italy.

Marina’s interests are many and varied as she embraces the Arts in all their forms with passion and skill.  She is an educator, linguist, fine artist, photographer, writer and business woman.

Above all, Marina enjoys sharing her skills and knowledge with other people.

Researching and embracing spiritual matters is an ongoing endeavour for Marina – along with creating new and innovative ways of doing things.

Marina recently embarked upon a new venture and helped to set up an attractive Bed & Breakfast in a Medieval castle hamlet in Umbria (Italy) where she is available as travel guide, translator and language teacher. Marina can also assist in arranging daily outings to unedited and wonderful parts of central Italy.
